The Sierra is equipped
with three different transmissions, five various engines, and a rear or
all-wheel drive element. The base assembly is a V-6 paired 285-hp with a
six-speed automatic mechanism.
The 355-hp 5.3-liter V-8
combines with a six or eight-speed automatic transmission.
The 6.2-liter V-8, 420-hp
and torque-rich diesel six-cylinder making 460 lb-ft individually operate via a
10-speed automatic transmission.
The GMC Sierra 1500 also
can be equipped with adaptive dampers and other content that separate this
truck from its Chevrolet sibling.
In Sierra's corner is
the robust AT4 trim, which comes with a 2.0-inch suspension elevation and other
